I currently serve as a video producer in the Office of Communications and Marketing at Auburn University. There, I get to visually tell the stories of the incredible work and people that make up a place I love dearly. I find storytelling to be the most impactful way to promote a brand, and I really enjoy getting to dive deep into the rich stories Auburn's campus has every semester. I am particularly interested in sharing research stories in an easily understandable way. I enjoy seeing how a story can come together across multiple mediums, including video, photo, writing, social, and paid marketing.
After graduating from Auburn's journalism school, I worked in local television as a news producer before moving into higher education. I worked at Columbus State University, managing the university's main social media accounts and building relationships with local reporters to promote CSU stories locally and statewide. At Auburn, I manage our office's student intern program, the university's YouTube page, and our content distribution through Campus Insights Media, where our research stories are pitched to local news stations across the country. I am FAA Part 107 drone-certified and currently pursuing a master's degree in higher education administration.
